1.8.0 is now available from NPM, with two new flags supported for faster deployments:
--no-optional-dependencies
will remove optional dependencies before sending a package to Lambda, which allows you to exclude things that you know will be available there, such as the AWS SDK and Image Magick libraries. Just make sure to use-O
or--save-optional

can significantly speed up deployments when you change the code of your API but not the endpoint configurations. This will make Claudia store a signature of the API configuration with the deployed version, and upload a new configuration to API Gateway next time only if the signatures do not match.VAR-NAME
